People hate queues – time spent waiting invariably comes at the top of the list of complaints. The uncertainty around how long a queue process will take weighs heavily on the mind, particularly when confronted with many people in line in front of you.
BlipTrack provides accurate real-time wait time information by measuring the number of people in line and the average throughput of the area. The data, typically based on data collected using WiFi sensors, helps to put lines in perspective, for example with real-time wait times on signs, websites and mobile apps. It helps reduce frustration, by creating realistic wait time expectations, with more satisfied and recurring customers as a result.
In addition, the solution provides early warning if lines are becoming congested, allowing management to initiate countermeasures, for instance by opening additional lines.
By adding third-party data sources, volume and show-up profiles forecasts can be created. This allows management to simulate the consequences of changing production capacity to automatically and accurately scale staffing resources with demand, both on the fly and for days, weeks and months to come, without affecting KPIs.
The data is presented in a web-based user interface with a series of dashboards with compelling visualizations, KPI graphs, Sankey diagrams and more. Data is extractable through various output facilities, including an open API-interface, allowing quick integration into existing management systems.
