The Queue Forecasting Module provides both real-time and long-term forecasts of passenger waiting times.
It enables airport managers to adjust production capacity in time to allocate staff resources, if expected wait times deviate from original forecasts, preventing queue build-up, frustrated passengers, lost revenue and avoiding potential KPI violations.
Based on defined passenger appearance profiles and current throughput, the module is able to forecast queue lengths in passenger process areas. In addition, the module is able to predict KPI scores at the end of the day/week.
The module combines a series of inputs, such as queue measurements, passenger appearance forecasts and planned capacity, which can either be generated by the BlipTrack Passengers Appearance Forecast Module and the BlipTrack Capacity Optimizer Module or from existing forecasts.
The BlipTrack forecasting solution consists of several advanced modules, which are designed to optimize and improve all the stages of passenger handling. The modules can be combined or used separately and are easily integrated with existing airport management systems.
